OBJECTIVES: The objective of this Corporation is to promote the interest of its shareholders and the paint industry as a whole through development of promotional programs designed to encourage the purchase and use of paint products.  Other objectives of this Corporation are to foster the distribution of products bearing the proprietary trademarks of Color Systems International; to promote the interchange of merchandising and technical ideas and experiences among the shareholders of this Corporation; to promote the use of the name "Color Systems International" and build goodwill around that name; to acquire copyrights and similar rights or privileges and the use thereof; to print or publish matter produced as advertising or promotional media for products bearing the trademark "Color Systems" and/or "Color Systems International" designed to promote a standard of quality available to the industry; to foster, promote or organize advertising campaigns, schemes or ideas, by itself or in conjunction with others, in the distribution and marketing of products bearing the trademark "Color Systems" and/or "Color Systems International", to adopt trademarks for paints to signify conformity with an established color palette for the betterment of the paint industry, establishing standards to which paints bearing the Corporation's trademarks must conform, including altering color palettes; to encourage and provide new and superior color palettes to the industry through use of standard trade names and trademarks; to enforce and resist, by itself or in conjunction with others, the infringement of any copyright, trade name, trademark or other similar right which the Corporation holds, owns or possesses; and to inspect use by shareholders of its trademarks, including determining conformity with color palettes, use of trademarks on advertising materials, labels, tags, color cards and the like.  This Corporation shall do any and all things incidental or necessary to effect the above-described purposes.
